# CookieInspector

> CookieInspector is an independent website cookie and consent compliance scanner.
> It loads a site in a real browser, records every cookie and network request before
> and after the consent banner is accepted, and reports what fired without consent.

CookieInspector is not a consent management platform (CMP). It does not install a
cookie banner on your site. It audits whether the banner you already have — Termly,
Cookiebot, OneTrust, CookieYes, Iubenda, Usercentrics, Osano and others — is actually
blocking tracking the way it claims to.

Results are technical findings, not legal advice. The score measures observed risk,
where 0 is best and 100 is worst. CookieInspector does not guarantee legal compliance.
